Following a series of unforgettable performances [for them] over the past two summers at the exceptional LA SKALA in Tsagkarada, Heimerinoi Kolymvites are returning to Pelion to join the Festival of Aloni Theatre for 2019. Following a series of unforgettable performances [for them] over the past two summers at the exceptional LA SKALA in Tsagkarada, Heimerinoi Kolymvites are returning to Pelion to join the Festival of Aloni Theatre for 2019. The group first appeared in 1981 with a record named after the group’s name and ever since they have released the records “Apo to parko sti Myrovolo”, “M’ agapas”, “Dakoktonoi”, Ohi lathi, panta lathi”, “H mastorantza tou Erntebil”, “To perasma sou” and “23 kokkina fota”. Starting from 1981, they have been giving about 10 to 20 concerts per year. As always, they shape their program according to the audience, their mood and influenced by the particular political and general cultural situation. Therefore, each of their concerts is different as it is created “on the spot” with the participation of the audience and stands out not only for their music which combines traditional and modern elements performed by virtuoso musicians, but also for the fun and warm atmosphere they establish with their audience.
Heimerinoi Kolymvites will appear the Festival of Aloni Theatre for 2019 as follows:
