Piano at Aloni

In 2015, Aloni Theatre initiated a very important institution within the framework of its educational character. “Piano at Aloni” is a two-day festival featuring internationally awarded young piano soloists, in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed pianist and instructor, Agathi Leimoni.

In particular, this festival is organized in order to give the chance to young talented pianists to present their art, share their talent with the audience and experience along with it the beauty of music in this majestic theatre which hosts ideally performances of the greatest composers’ masterpieces, thanks to its excellent acoustics. While at the same time, the festival revives the rich cultural tradition of the area where, throughout the centuries, its inhabitants were particularly familiar with European music and every mansion had its own piano.

Samir Abdourazakov in his 10 years old became international recognized young pianist. He got three first prizes in Steinway piano competition (Stockholm 2018), Feurich International piano competition (Vienna 2018) and Florida Keys International  Music competition where the final Samir played in Carnegie Hall (New York 2018). He born in Gothenburg  (Sweden) 2009.02.04

He participated as well in different festivals such as Amstelveld Music Festival in Amsterdam 2018, Gothenburg piano Festival and just recently  Stage 4kids festival in Hamburg 2019.

Performed two times with chamber and symphony orchestra with Mozart pianoconcerto No.28 in Gothenburg and Malmö, and played  concerts in Italy and Russia. Recently was a star in very popular in Russia Tv-show for young talants.

Manos Kitsikopoulos Bio

Manos Kitsikopoulos, He continued hiat the Royal Academy of Music in London, under the guidance of Joanna MacGregor where he obtained two music degrees: Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance, receiving distinction and the honorary title, DipRAM and Artist Diploma (level 8 Doctorate)

For his studies at the Royal Academy, Manos has been strongly supported by the Onassis Foundation, the Athena Scholarship and the Life Action Trust.

He received a number of awards such as the Dorothy Briant Award, the LIoyd Hartley Prize and the “Eleni Mykoniou” Prize, awarded by the Academy of Athens.

He is the winner (1st Prize,  Grand Prix)  of the ClaMo International  piano competition in Spain.

Manos, has performed as a soloist with the Royal Academy Big Band, the Janacek Philharmonic orchestra, the Athens Symphony Orchestra, ERT Contemporary Symphony Orchestra and the Athens State Orchestra. Recently, he performed a concert on a live broadcast for Athens State Classical radio 3.

He has perfomed in Masterclasses of famous pianists such as Hamish Milne, Pascal Nemirovsky, Yevgeny Subdin, Ian Fountain, Pascal Devoyon, Berand Rindeissen, Alberto Portugues and Karin Merle.

Manos performances have taken him to major venues such as, Odeon of Heroes Atticus, Royal Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, Kensington Palace Athens Megaron, Parnassos Concert Hall.

Having a great interest in all areas of repertoire, he is strongly involved with improvisation. Recently he orchestrated a song circle by the composer Martha Menahem,  based on great Greek Poets.

Upcoming performances include performance of 4th Beethoven Concerto in Spain with  Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, recitals in Andalusia and a recital under the Piano Festival of Greek National Opera.

Ásta Dóra Finnsdóttir, 12 year old pianist from Iceland. She has been a piano student since the age of 4 years and 9 months. She is currently enrolled in the young talents program at Barratt Due in Oslo. She lives in Gardabaer, Iceland. She commutes once or twice a month from Iceland to Norway to attend classes with her Russian teacher, Marina Pliassova. Ásta Dóra is also a piano student of Peter Máté at Reykjavik College of Music in Iceland.

Ásta Dóra has taken part in many national and international competitions:

-Ásta Dóra was a soloist with BARDUS in Oslo, Norway, 2019, Athens camerata, Greece, 2018, Harpa International Music Academy Orchestra, Iceland, 2018, Iceland Symphony Orchestra, 2017. Her most recent public performance was in June 2019 at the Gradus International Piano Festival in Aarhus, Denmark. She has performed for the President of Iceland.

She likes to improvise, compose, read books and write stories.

Ariadne Papageorgiou is 14 years old, born in Athens. She began studying piano at the age of five.

She is a student of the internationally renowned soloist and pedagogue Agathe Leimoni at the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts and at Schola Cantorum of Paris. Ariadne has won prizes at the National Piano Competition of " X.O.N." (2016 and 2019), the New York Debut Young Musicians Competition (2017) and the 6th International Piano Competition "Citta di Spoleto" (Italy) (2018).

She has performed twice with the "Sinfonietta of Athens" under the direction of George Aravidis at the International Poros Piano Festival (2014 and 2018).

Ariadne has appeared in the Athens Concert Hall and the National Television of Greece.
