The primordial sound of the lyre meets Jazz and modern music
New compositions for lyre and piano trio inspired by Greek musical traditions
Greek traditional, Byzantine and classical music but also the variety of improvisations that draw inspiration from both the world of jazz and and from that of contemporary music, compose its special acoustic character quartet by Sokratis Sinopoulos.
Sokratis Sinopoulos and his quartet have appeared in the most important theaters in Greece and in jazz venues and festivals in Europe: Athens Concert Hall, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Onassis Foundation Roof, Athens Festival, Enjoyjazz, Jazzahead, NOSPR Katowice , Skopje Jazz Festival, Akbank Jazz Festival, Heidelberg Jazz Festival etc.
The afternoon of the concert will be organized for those spectators who wish, a walking route from the path Agios Lavrenti - Agios Georgios - Theatro Aloni, departure at 7.00 pm from the square of Agios Lavrentiou
