FLAMENCO TRADITIONAL
Tablao Flamenco & Hike (Agios Lavrentios – Agios Georgios) Sunday, August 24th
Aloni Theater – Hike & Tablao Flamenco
Sunday, August 24 A closing celebration of 30 years of culture in nature
As every year, the Festival’s final event begins at 7:00 p.m. from the square of Agios Lavrentios, with a hike toward Aloni Theater, following the old cobbled trail that connects Agios Lavrentios with Agios Georgios Nileias.
It’s a 5-kilometer route along a centuries-old stone path that once connected Pilion’s communities — culturally, commercially, and spiritually.
A path as a bridge
This walk unites more than two villages. It brings together two of the region’s most vital cultural institutions: Music Village and the Aloni Theater Festival, which this year marks its 30th anniversary.
This annual meeting keeps alive the spirit and value of the kalderimia — reminding us that, in an age where everything seems to dissolve in the name of profit and so-called development, ancient paths still exist, ready to be walked again — to reconnect us with nature, memory, and awareness. To uplift the spirit, and to honor our origins as a species rooted in the Earth — our one true home.
FLAMENCO TRADITIONAL
Song and silence. Dance and stillness. Six strings and endless emotion. Together, they create the magic of the tablao — where voices rise like flames, feet strike the ground with force, guitar strings weave living stories, and hands summon rhythms older than memory.
Each performance is a soul-to-soul conversation, spoken in the timeless language of flamenco.
