Ο Ιτζίνο Τζιοβάνι Μπουνόρι και η Βιρτζίνια Νίκολι αποτελούν το μουσικό δίδυμο Samvad (Σαμβαντ), ένα καινοτόμο μουσικό σχήμα που δημιουργεί ένα νέο σύγχρονο ακουστικό ήχο χρησιμοποιώντας αρχαίο μουσικό υλικό. Οι συναυλίες των Samvad είναι διαλογιστικά ταξίδια μέσα σε ένα πλούσιο μελωδικό και ρυθμικό τοπίο, που δημιουργούν με τραγούδι, μπανσούρι( ινδικό φλάουτο), μεταλλικό φλάουτο, σαξόφωνο και την συνοδεία των ινδικών τυμπάνων Τάμπλα από τον Έλληνα δεξιοτέχνη Γιάννη Ζάννη.

Το Θέατρο Αλώνι ολοκληρώνει το καλοκαιρινό φεστιβάλ στην Πανσέληνο του Αυγούστου, διοργανώνοντας και δίνοντας την δυνατότητα σε θεατές πεζοπόρους να απολαύσουν το δίκτυο ενός πανέμορφου μονοπατιού που συνδέει το Μουσικό χωριό (Άγιο Λαυρέντη) και το Θέατρο Αλώνι ( Άγιος Γεώργιος) για την συναυλία ινδικής μουσικής Samvad Trio. Oι θεατές και οι πεζοπόροι δίνουν ραντεβού για να απολαύσουν κάτω απο την μεγάλη πανσέληνο ινδικούς ήχους. Η συγκεκριμένη διαδρομή μήκους 5 χ.λ.μ κινείται στο παλιό παραδοσιακό καλντερίμι- μονοπάτι ιδιαίτερου φυσικού κάλους που για αιώνες συνέδεε τις τοπικές κοινωνίες πολιτιστικά, εμπορικά και θρησκευτικά.

Η λέξη Samvad σημαίνει στα Σανσκριτικά ‘’συνομιλία’’ ή ‘’συμφωνία’’. Οι συνθέσεις και οι αυτοσχεδιασμοί των Samvad βασίζονται πάνω στην ινδική κλασική μουσική, Dhrupad, ένα αρχαίο μουσικό είδος που διατηρείται και εξελίσσεται ως σήμερα. Η μουσική τους είναι μια δυναμική έκφραση της αρχαίας αυτής ινδικής μουσικής παράδοσης, σε συνδοιασμό με τον συγχρονό ήχο. Η ιδιαίτερη ποιότητα της μουσικής των Samvad πηγάζει από την προσοχή που δίνουν στο ηχόχρωμα και στη λεπτομέρια των μουσικών διαστημάτων, σε ένα συνεχές διάλογο μεταξύ Ανατολής και Δύσης, αρχαίου και σύγχρονου τρόπου έκφρασης.
Στη συναυλία θα ακούσουμε ινδικά κλασικά Ράγκας, με διάφορους συνδοιασμούς ήχων, όπως ντουέτο ινδικού κλασικού φλάουτου, σαξόφωνο με μεταλλικό φλάουτο και τραγούδι με σαξόφωνο. Οι Samvad θα παρουσιάσουν παραδοσιακές ινδικές συθέσεις, δικές τους δημιουργίες αλλά και πολύ αυτοσχεδιασμό, συνοδευόμενοι στην Τάμπλα ( Ινδικά τύμπανα ) , από τον Έλληνα δεξιοτέχνη Γιάννη Ζάννης.
Samvad bios -
H Βιρτζίνια Νίκολι ξεκίνησε να παίζει μεταλικό φλαόυτο όταν ήταν 6 χρονών και έκανε για χρόνια ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα με διάφορους δασκάλους. Αργότερα σπόυδασε στο Μιλάνο στην ‘’Academia della Musica” με τον Λούσιο Νάννι, και πήρε Master dergee στην μουσικοθεραπεία από το ‘’ Modello Benenzon”.
O Ιτζίνο Τζιοβάννι Μπρουνόρι ξεκίνησε να παίζει σαξόφωνο όταν ήταν 6 χρονών. Σπούδασε στην ‘’ Acadamia Musicale Provincale Francesco Consoli" με τον μαέστρο Φαμπιάνο Ρεντόλφι και επίσης στο Ωδείο της Μπρέσια με τον Gianni Alberti.
Οι Samvad ( Σαμβάντ) γνωρίστηκαν το 2006 και από τότε ξεκίνησαν το κοινό ταξίδι τους στη ζωή και στη μουσική, μένοντας στην Ινδία και μαθαίνοντας το ινδικό φλάουτο, Μπάνσουρι, .
Το 2010 αποφοίτησαν μαζί από το Ωδείο "Arrigo Pedrollo" της Βιτσέντζα με τον τίτλο των καλύτερων αποφοίτων πάνω στην ινδική μουσική. Σπούδασαν επίσης με τον σπουδαίο Ιταλό μουσικό Τζιάννι Ρίτσι, ο οποίος έχει αφιερώσει πάνω από 30 χρόνια της ζωής του στη μελέτη και διδασκαλία της Ινδικής κλασικής μουσικής. Επίσης παρακολούθησαν σεμινάρια ινδικού φλάουτου από τον μέγαλο Ινδό δεξιοτέχνη Hariprasad Chaurasia και διέμειναν για καιρό στο Δελχί της Ινδίας για να εμβαθύνουν στην τέχνη του Μπάνσουρι υπό την καθοδήγηση του Ινδού μάστερ Pt.Rajendra Prasana.
Το 2009 έγιναν μαθητές των σπουδαίων Ινδών τραγουδιστών κλασικής μουσικής Ντρούπαντ, Gundecha Brothers και αφιέρωσαν τη ζωή τους στη σπουδή της Ντρούπαντ μουσικής, στο κέντρο των Gundecha Brothers στο Μποπάλ της κεντρικής Ινδίας. Από το 2012 ξεκίνησαν περιοδείες με τους δασκάλους τους στα μεγαλύτερα μουσικά φεστιβάλ της Ινδίας, στην Αμερική και στην Ευρώπη.
Οι Samvad συνεχίζουν τις συναυλίες τους σε όλο τον κόσμο, στην Ινδία, στην Αμερική, στον Καναδά και στην Ευρώπη, παίζοντας ως δίδυμο αλλά και συνεργαζόμενοι με διάφορους μουσικούς. Τέλος διδάσκουν Μπανσούρι και Ντρούπαντ μουσική στην Ιταλία και κάνουν σεμινάρια ινδικής κλασικής μουσικής ανά τον κόσμο.
Γιάννης Ζάννης - Τάμπλα (ινδικά κρουστά)
Έρχεται σε επαφή με την ινδική κλασική μουσική το Νοέμβρη του 1999 στην Αθήνα, ξεκινώντας μαθήματα Τάμπλας με τον Λευτέρη Μητρόπουλο. Το 2003 ταξιδεύει για πρώτη φορά στην Ινδία και συνεχίζει τις μουσικές του σπουδές στην πόλη του Μπενάρες (Varanasi), μια πόλη με πολλή πλούσια μουσική παράδοση.
Μένει στο Μπενάρες για αρκετούς μήνες κάθε χρόνο και ακολουθεί τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο μουσικής εκπαίδευσης στην Τάμπλα υπό την καθοδήγηση του Pt. Kishan Ramdohkar, ενός σημαντικού δασκάλου από το Μπενάρες, με τον οποίο δίνει έμφαση στην τεχνική και στο ηχόχρωμα της Τάμπλα. Μάζι με την σπουδή του στο συνοδευτικό και σολιστικό ρεπερτόριο της Τάμπλα, διδάσκεται Τάμπλα για συνοδεία κλασικού ινδικού χορού Kathak, από τον σπουδαίο χορευτή και μουσικό Pt. Ravi Shankar Mishra.
Το 2009-10 παρακολουθεί μαθήματα κλασικού ινδικού τραγουδιού Dhrupad από τον Vishal Jain και την Marianne Svasek. To 2011,2012 και 2013 συμμετέχει σε τρία masterclass σεμινάρια Τάμπλας από τον Ινδό tabla-master, Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra, ενω το 2013 παίρνει από το ινδικό πανεπιστήμιο Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Allahabad) το Diploma for Tabla. Το καλοκαίρι του 2016 παρακολουθεί το σεμινάριο “Poetry of rhythm” από τους σπουδαίους κρουστούς Djamsid και Bijan Chemirani, και από το 2018 παρακολουθεί προχωρημένα μαθήματα Τάμπλας στην Καλκούτα από τον σπουδαίο Ινδό δεξιοτέχνη Pt.Subhankar Banerjee.
Ο Γιάννης έχει παίξει συναυλίες ινδικής κλασικής μουσικής, Tabla-solo και συνοδεία, στην Ινδία, στην Τουρκία, στο Βέλγιο, στο Ισραήλ και στην Ελλάδα, έχει κάνει σεμινάρια και μαθήματα Τάμπλας και ινδικής μουσικής στην Ελλάδα και έχει γράψει μουσική στην Τάμπλα για θέατρο και ινδικό κλασικό χορό.
Igino Giovanni Brunori and Virginia Nicoli of Samvad are an innovative musical duo crafting new sounds from ancient materials. Their performances are meditative journeys through a rich landscape of melody and rhythm, using bansuri (Indian bamboo flute), silver flute and saxophone and voice.
Samvad’s original compositions and improvisations are founded on the most rigorous traditions of Indian Classical music, Dhrupad. Their music is less of a fusion and more of a dynamic expression of these traditional principles. Samvad means to ‘speak together’ or ‘accord’ in Sanskrit.
The exceptional quality of Samvad’s music derives from their attention to sound quality, to micro-tonal detail and to the mysterious dialog between the two. East and West, ancient music and contemporary sounds meet in a new interpretation of tradition and modernity.

Samvad Bios -
Virginia Nicoli began to play silver flute when she was six years old and at ten began her musical studies. She studied privately for five years and then at the" Accademia della Musica" in Milan with Lucio Nanni. She has a masters in Music Therapy from the "Modello Benenzon".
Igino Giovanni Brunori began to play saxophone in the age of seven. He studied at the "Acadamia Musicale Provincale Francesco Consoli" in Lumezzane with teacher and maestro Fabiano Redolfi and then continued his musical studies with the saxophone teacher Gianni Alberti at the Conservatorium of Brescia.
Samvad met in 2006 through music and began their musical journey towards India, together in both life and music studying the bansuri (indian bamboo flute).
In 2010 they graduated together from the Consevatorium "Arrigo Pedrollo" of Vicenzia in "tradizioni musicali extra Europe i ad indirizzo indologico" with the award for most outstanding graduates. They presented their final thesis after extensive research in India interviewing great musicians and musicologists. In Italy they studied with the great maestro of Indian classical music Gianni Richizzi, who dedicated over thirty years of his life to the study and teaching of Indian Classical Music. They also participated in many workshops with great maestros such as Hariprasad Chaurasia.
Since 2009 they study with the famous Indian Drupad singers Gundecha Brothers in Bhopal, to deepen their knowledge of the art of Dhrupad and dedicate themselves totally to music. From 2012 they started performing with their teachers, the Gundecha Brothers, in many of the biggest Indian Classical Music festivals of India such as Saptak festival in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru Habba in Bengalore and recently in Sawai Gandharva in Pune, and Doverlane Music Conference in Kolkatta.
They deepen the study of Bansuri with Pandit Rajendra Prasanna and his son Rishab Prasanna.
Samvad are active with performances all over the world , in India, Europe, America, Canada, with their duo Samvad or in different collaborations.

Yannis Zannis - Tabla (indian drums)
Born in Greece, he got in touch with Indian music in 2000, when he attented his first Tabla lessons from Lefteris Mitropoulos in Athens. Since 2004 he started going to India to continue with his studies on Tabla, in the city of Benares (Varanasi). He is a disciple of Pt. Kishan Ramdohkar ji, an eminent Tabla-player from Benares, preserver of the legacy of the tabla wizard Pt. Anokhey Lal Mishra. On 2013 Yannis got his Diploma on Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti University (Allahabad- India), and since 2018 he is under the guidance of the great tabla-player Pt.Subhankar Banerjee from Kolkata.
To widen his musical horizons he studied the Tabla repertoire for the Indian classical dance, Kathak, under the guidance of the great dancer and tabla player, Pt. Ravi Shankar Mishra. Moreover, he attended a Drupad Singing workshop by Marianne Svasek, Tabla classes by Sri Pyar Lal ji and Kishore Kumar Mishra, three masterclass Tabla workshops by the Tabla Master Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra, and the workshop ''Poetry of Rythm” by the Zarb masters Djamjid & Bijan Chemirani.
Yannis has performed several Indian classical music concerts in Greece, Belgium, Turkey, Israel and India,as accompanist and soloist and has written and performed music on Tabla for theater and Kathak dance.
He spends his time between India and Greece learning, teaching and performing.
