ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ
Ο Νίκος Βέννερ γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και έδειξε το μουσικό του ταλέντο από νεαρή ηλικία. Ξεκίνησε τις σπουδές του στο Εθνικό Ωδείο και τις ολοκλήρωσε τον Ιούνιο του 2018 αποκτώντας το δίπλωμα πιάνου με άριστα παμψηφεί και 1ο βραβείο, στο Ωδείο Ι. Συγγελάκη.
Είναι απόφοιτος του Αμερικανικού Κολλεγίου Ελλάδος (Deree – American College of Greece) και κάτοχος πτυχίου Bachelor of Arts in Music, λαμβάνοντας την υψηλότατη διάκριση Magna cum Laude καθώς και το βραβείο Outstanding Senior Achievement Award για την καλλιτεχνική του δραστηριότητα και το υψηλότατο επίπεδο σπουδών με καθηγητή τον διεθνούς φήμης σολίστ και μαέστρο κ. Δημήτρη Τουφεξή.
Παράλληλα απέκτησε και Bachelor από το Open University του Λονδίνου. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του στο Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο Deree (ACG) του είχε απονεμηθεί η υποτροφία Frances L. Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts.
Ολοκλήρωσε με επιτυχία τις μεταπτυχιακές του σπουδές (Master in Music Performance) στη Βασιλική Ακαδημία της Σκωτίας (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), στη Γλασκώβη με καθηγητές τους Aaron Shorr και Steven Osborne. Παράλληλα με τις σπουδές του στο RCS έλαβε υποτροφία από το Ίδρυμα Α.G. Leventis Foundation.Έχει διακριθεί και έχει αποσπάσει το 3ο βραβείο στον Πανελλήνιο Διαγωνισμό του Δημοτικού Ωδείου Λάρισας και δύο φορές στον Πανελλήνιο διαγωνισμό της UNESCO αποσπώντας το 3ο βραβείο το 2016 και το 2ο βραβείο το 2018.
Eπίσης, απέσπασε το 2ο βραβείο στο διεθνή διαγωνισμό ISCART (International Piano Competition) στο Λουγκάνο της Ελβετίας τον Απρίλιο του 2021 καθώς και το 2ο βραβείο στο διεθνή διαγωνισμό μουσικής (IMMC) International Moscow Competition τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2021. Σαν σολίστ έχει δώσει ρεσιτάλ στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής, στην Εναλλακτική Σκηνή της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής και σε άλλες πόλεις της Ελλάδας καθώς και στο Mozarteum στο Salzburg της Αυστρίας. Πρόσφατα βραβεύτηκε από την Ακαδημία Αθηνών (Απρίλιος 2022) με το βραβείο της Τάξης των Γραμμάτων και Καλών Τεχνών στη κατηγορία Piano Performance.
Εργάζεται ως καθηγητής και σολίστ πιάνου και παράλληλα έχει ξεκινήσει σπουδές στη La Schola Cantorum στο Παρίσι, με καθηγήτρια την διεθνούς φήμης πιανίστα και καθηγήτρια κα Αγάθη Λεϊμονή.
BIOGRAPHY
Nikos Venner was born in Athens, Greece. His musical talent showed from a very young age and he began his studies at the National Conservatory of Athens. He studied under the internationally acclaimed pianist Dimitri Toufexis and in June of 2018 he received his concert piano diploma with the distinction of ‘excellent unanimously and first prize’ at the I. Sygelakis Conservatory.
Nikos is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the American College of Greece (Deree) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music. During his undergraduate studies he became the recipient of the Frances L. Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship as well as the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Achievement Award for his artistic activity.
Additionally, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an honours in Music Performance from the Open University of England. He continued his studies, graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) with a Masters in Music Performance under professors Aaron Shorr and Fali Pavri, in 2021.
He has won the third prize at the National Competition of the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa, as well as the third prize in 2016 and the second prize in 2018 at the National Competition of UNESCO. Additionally, he was awarded the second prize at the International Piano Competition (ISCART) of Lugano, Switzerland in 2021, as well as the second prize at the International Moscow Music Competition (IMMC) in September 2021.
As a soloist, he has played recitals in many concert halls including the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron), the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera as well as the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, in Austria.
Finally, he was awarded the Order of Letters and Fine Arts prize by the Academy of Athens in April 2022.
He works as a piano teacher and soloist and at the same time he studies at La Schola Cantorum in Paris, with the internationally renowned pianist and teacher Ms. Agathe Leimoni.
